Dear Valued Customers,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of Van’s Electrical Systems, effective December 24, 2024.  Since 1958, it has been our great privilege to serve you and be a part of your projects and businesses.  Your loyalty has meant the world to us.

However, this is not a complete goodbye.  We are pleased to announce that two new companies will continue to carry forward some of the critical products and services that Van’s is known for:

Van’s Carb & Electric Service – 317-455-5742 – vanselec.com (no storefront; this website will be updated).

Andy Van will bring our expertise in carburetion and DC electrical systems directly to you with mobile service.

• Diagnose challenging electrical problems
• Electrical repair and battery cable service
• Carburetor rebuild service
• Fuel system service and adjustment

Craig Power Products – craigpowerproducts.com (no storefront)

Alex Craig will focus on supply of specialty items that were exclusive to Van’s or are not widely available.

• Specialty and OEM-specific alternators
• High-output alternators
• Connectors and harness repair service
• Switches, relays and controls
• Oddball electrical parts
• Rebuild Zenith and Marvel carburetors
• Rebuild distributors and fuel pumps
• Information and remote support
• The “shack of radios” experience 1980-2000’s (RIP)

Please note that certain product lines and services will not be offered by the new companies, including:

• Cole Hersee / LittelFuse (except certain SKU’s)
• Ametek solenoids
• Gauges
• Most lighting
• Most alternator and starter components
• DPF Service
• Inverters and power management
• Rotating electrical rebuild service
